Granted is a family business independently run and operated right here in Vancouver. They use traditional knitting methods and have been labeled a new and unique genre of neo-vintage clothing. Their classic inspired sweaters and accessories are made from 100% pure new wool.
Although the Granted label debuted in 2007, their hand-knitting business was established in 1978. The designers of Granted, a brother sister duo, remember growing up with knitting needles and bags of yarn everywhere. The founders of the business, their parents, ran a successful cottage industry for many years and so as time passed it was only natural for the children to come on board with a new chapter to the company.
Granted uses only the highest selected quality of pure new wool. Each of their items are meticulously knit by hand and go through strict quality control before they reach stores. You may find that some of their garments have wood zipper pulls. These signature pieces are hand-crafted on Vancouver Island using only salvaged yew wood. Each piece is unique and represents the hand-made nature of their brand.
